Agriculture Tier 3/Stage IIIA.
You can't always depend on the weather, but you can depend on Cummins Tier 3-certified engines. Our in-cylinder technology not only meets Tier 3 emissions standards, it's a simple and cost-effective solution that maintains Cummins proven performance, dependability and durability.
QSX
The QSX combines advanced in-cylinder combustion technology and a dual overhead cam design with proven heavy-duty components for dependability without compromise. The electronically controlled wastegated turbo significantly extends the performance envelope. Ratings from 375-630 hp (280-470 kW).
QSM
The QSM was the first engine in the industry to be certified to EPA Tier 3 levels. These engines are used on farms, orchards and vineyards worldwide, and are delivering superior performance that's the result of advanced in-cylinder combustion technology and our responsive wastegated turbo. Its advanced design ensures that maintenance is kept to an absolute minimum. Ratings from 300-400 hp (224-298 kW).
QSL
With ratings from 280-365 hp (209-272 kW), Cummins QSL engines deliver performance that meets the challenge, whether you're plowing or hauling hay up a hill. QSL engines combine advanced in-cylinder combustion technology with a High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system to increase power and reduce emissions. Every hour of every day
QSC
The High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system used on Cummins QSC delivers strong performance at every rpm and every rating from 215-305 hp (160-228 kW). Quieter operation (up to 50% less noise) significantly improves operator comfort. The heavy-duty engine block and components add reliability and durability you can count on every day, acre after acre.
QSB6.7
Our new QSB6.7 diesel engine makes short work of the tough jobs. At 6.7 liters, it has 13% more displacement with more torque and horsepower. Advanced electronic controls and a HPCR fuels system capable of multiple injection events per cycle keep it running quietly and efficiently. Ratings range from 130-275 hp (97-205 kW).
QSB4.5
Cummins QSB4.5, a 4.5-liter power plant incorporates similar technology and user benefits to the 6.7-liter model. Electronic controls are easily customized to fit everything from 2WD tractors to mowing equipment, using Cummins PowerMatch. The QSB4.5 is rated from 110-160 hp (82-120 kW).
QSB3.3
Cummins new QSB3.3 doesn't just contradict conventional thinking. It rewrites the rules. And establishes a whole new precedent for power, performance, efficiency and reliability in a compact engine. It combines the proven reliability and durability of our B3.3 platform with full authority electronics and a High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system. That's how the QSB3.3 meets Tier 3/Stage IIIA emissions regulations, runs safely on fuel with a high sulfur content and still maintains excellent fuel economy. Ratings range from 80-110 hp (60-82 kW).
A Series
Every one of the A Series engine ratings under 48 hp is compliant with Tier 4 which means no change to the engine through 2012. We also meet Stage IIIA regulations through 2017. Our 2300T is certified to Tier 3/Stage IIIA regulations. Ratings range from 31-68 hp (23-45 kW).
