Building on the rugged, reliable design of Cummins B, C and L Series diesel engines, Cummins Westport has four alternative fuel engines available with a multitude of ratings from 150- to 320-horsepower fueled by CNG (compressed natural gas), LNG (liquefied natural gas) or LPG (propane) - the C Gas Plus, B Gas Plus and B LPG Plus and the new 320-horsepower L Gas Plus. In addition, in 2005 the new B Gas International will offer an economical clean-burning solution for international markets like China and India.
Every Cummins Westport natural gas and propane engine is certified to the rigorous EPA 2005 standard emissions levels with a catalytic converter*. The L Gas Plus, C Gas Plus and B Gas Plus are also certified to tougher CARB optional low-NOx and low-PM (Particulate Matter) standards. Cummins Westport natural gas products use technology today that will enable our customers to meet stringent 2010 emissions standards without having to resort to complex after treatment.
