Our Tier 3 and Tier 4 Interim 6.7-liter QSB engines installed in identical front end loaders competed back-to-back in a Fuel Duel test confirming a 5% fuel efficiency improvement for the Tier 4 Interim 6.7-liter QSB installation. 

The improved fuel efficiency of the Tier 4 Interim engine was achieved without compromising machine performance.  In fact, the Tier 4 Interim QSB6.7 powered machine completed the Fuel Duel tests in shorter cycle times due to faster engine response to load demands.  This proves that our fully optimized installation is a key enabler to providing improved machine performance.

For every 1,000 U.S. gallons of diesel fuel consumed at Tier 3, and a 5% higher fuel-efficiency with our Tier 4 Interim solution, you could save $100.
